The Jersey talents — Travolta, of course, grew up in Englewood, while Braff is from South Orange/Maplewood — co-star in a Super Bowl commercial for T-Mobile (watch video below). Joining them in song is Braff’s “Scrubs” co-star and “Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald” podcast co-host Donald Faison.
The trio of actors elopements sing a little ditty to the tune of “Summer Nights” from “Grease.”
In the 1978 movie adaptation of the Broadway musical “Grease,” Travolta, 68, played greaser Danny Zuko, leader of the T-Birds at Rydell High, memorably committing the original song to film in a duet with the late Olivia Newton-John, who played Australian student Sandy Olsson. (Newton-John died in August.)
